TMC Drive to the Broadmoor for Bowling and Lunch

Broadmoor collage
The day will start with "Maseratis and Coffee" at Mike Ward Maserati. Mike Ward is sponsoring this get together and is inviting all of their Maserati Owners to join us for coffee and bagels. This is a great chance to meet other Maserati owners and to see Maserati's "Latest and Greatest" cars and SUVs. Maybe enjoy a test drive in a new or used Maserati from their collection?

We are opening up this fun Bowling and Lunch event to any of Mike Ward's Maserati owners. If that's you, feel free to sign up below!

After the Maseratis and Coffee, we will have a fantastic drive to Colorado Springs via Hwy 105, a road custom made for Maseratis, with sweeping curves made for fast driving.

Then we’ll enjoy the fun of “Luxury” bowling at the Broadmoor, with a full bar and wood paneled lounge.

Finally we’ll stroll along the beautiful lake in the center of the Broadmoor complex and finish our day with a delightful lunch at the Golden Bee gastropub. The Bee is a Colorado institution and well worth the trip by itself.

Lunch and Bowling is included in the $50 per person event fee. We hope to see you there!

—————————————————————————————————————————————

Join us for a very special Corsa Maserati down in the SW corner of Colorado!
Historic - We’ll be staying in the amazing historic Strater Hotel, right in the heart of Old Durango. “Historic beauty with modern luxury”

Epic - We’ll be visiting nearby Mesa Verde National Park and seeing the ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings. Mesa Verde has over 4000 archaeological sites and over 600 cliff dwellings of the ancient pueblo people from 600 to 1300 AD.

Beautiful - Our Corsa Rally will take us on sweeping roads through beautiful landscapes and we’ll be making a lunch stop in the charming town of Telluride.

Challenging - We’ve spent some time re-thinking the rally to make it more fun and more open to all skill levels. It won’t be hard to do, but it will be challenging to win. You’ll see.

This year, Andy, Ro and Mark will be your hosts for a fun-filled weekend of driving, socializing, imbibing and friendly competition!

Those who have been on a Corsa before, you know how much fun this can be… lots of new and interesting things to see, exciting driving and, of course the fun of the Rally…

Mix and Match Mountain Drive, Lunch in Boulder, and Planetarium
Fellow Maserati Owners - Start your engines!

Mike Ward Maserati and The Maserati Club invite you to 'beat the heat' and exercise your Maserati with a nice cool drive through the mountains.

Join us on Saturday August 17th for a mix-and-match event.
Attend any part or combination that fits your schedule and interest:

1. A beautiful morning drive in the mountains

2. A great lunch in Boulder
3. A view of the stars and moons at Fiske Planetarium

We meet in Golden at 9:30 am in the Starbucks parking lot on Rt 93 & Washington Street (114 N. Rubey Drive, 80403).

From there we launch on a worthy mobile romp into the Foothills with a pit stop at the Carousel Of Happiness in Nederland; a magical menagerie that really shouldn’t be missed!

After this brief stop, we will continue our winding drive ending in downtown Boulder, with free parking underground. Then enjoy a noon lunch at Arcana; a stylish kitchen with a seasonal menu of elevated American plates, sophisticated cocktails & ciders (well, it is Boulder)!

Having enjoyed glorious mountain scenery and good food, you might call it a day. Well done.

Or, if you have a thirst for more knowledge, we’ll move on to the Fiske Planetarium at CU for a 1-hour visual experience (as only a planetarium can provide) starting at 2:30. The show is The Stars & Moons; an exploration of the stars and constellations in our night sky. Tickets are $7 for seniors and $10 general admission.

It’s all over at 3:30 but… all three activities are “mix & match”.
Some may choose to just drive, or meet for lunch or even just the Planetarium. Yes, RSVP’s are appreciated but we know how it goes, so last-minute attendance is okay.

Here’s the short version:

Show up for any portion you like:

Sat, Aug 17
9:30 @ Starbucks Golden
Noon @ Arcana restaurant in Boulder
2:30 @ Fiske Planetarium

RSVP to Ralph at: rgregorybuzz@gmail.com

That day the contact number for Ralph is 720-299-1619 but portions of the drive are out of cellphone coverage.
So, get out your planner now and join us.

Hope to see you there!

PS - You don’t need to be in the club for this one, just bring your Maserati and have some fun!

Murder Mystery Dinner and (optional) Overnight at the Gold Hill Inn
For a bit of something different, we have planned a beautiful wandering drive though the foothills, ending in the quaint town of Gold Hill near Boulder.
image1image2image5

Come join us at the historic Bluebird Lodge built in 1872; for an evening of mystery and suspense. A limit of thirty guests insures a very intimate and unusual theatrical experience. Begin with a champagne reception, surrounded by characters from the past with stories to tell and secrets to divulge (or withhold). Later, in the dining room, keep your eyes and ears open as you enjoy a meal prepared by the famous Gold Hill Inn. You just may be sitting next to a "killer." You and your team-mates will survey the scene of a crime, look for clues and interrogate suspects. Solve the mystery over dessert and win a prize. Unwind next door at the Inn, gaze at the stars, or go to bed in the rustic lodge, happy to have survived the evening.
